    A flight from Austral landed at Fisherton Airport with three inspectors from the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA). An official, an employee and two holders of the Central Bank's regional treasury were waiting for them in an armored car with 30,000,000 Australes, which at that time was in the process of converting to the peso, whose value was equal to that of the dollar. Those millions of that old currency that had to be incinerated were loaded in two small planes that departed from Rosario and ended up at the San Fernando airport, where the thieves transferred them to a van that departed with an unknown destination. He never managed to find the brains for such a white-collar operation, nor the supposed political connections of the event.
