As of June 2024, the number of OTT video users worldwide stood at around 3.9 billion, with services like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video offering instant access to content, allowing users to watch on-demand without physical media. What makes global cinema extraordinary is its democratic nature - approximately 4,000 feature films are produced worldwide annually, with leading film-producing countries including the United States, India, and Japan.
