Tout le monde en parle is a French television program broadcast on France 2 from 5th September 1998 to July 8th, 2006. It was presented by Thierry Ardisson and produced by Catherine Barma.The host receive personalities making news of the moment: actors, singers, writers, politicians, athletes, etc.. Guests talk about their lives, are being promoted and are facing the famous thematic interviews. The show gradually acquired a reputation as particularly provocative because the facilitator does not hesitate to ask the guests questions about their political and sexual privacy.Lead animator of the show, he was initially accompanied by Laurent Ruquier and Linda Hardy. Then he appealed to Eric and Ramzy duets and Kad and Olivier. Thierry Ardisson then opted for his sidekick, comedian Laurent Baffie until the end of the show.

Apostrophes was a live, weekly, literary, prime-time, talk show on French television created and hosted by Bernard Pivot. It ran for fifteen years (724 episodes) from January 10, 1975, to June 22, 1990, and was one of the most watched shows on French television (around 6 million regular viewers). It was broadcast on Friday nights on the channel France 2 (which was called "Antenne 2" from 1975 to 1992). The hourlong show was devoted to books, authors and literature. The format varied between one-on-one interviews with a single author and open discussions between four or five authors.
