Andre Toulon, living a peaceful life as a puppeteer in pre-WWI Paris, encounters the renegade sorcerer Afzel, who has stolen the mysterious secrets of life from the dark god Sutekh.

The story of three friends who, through a less happy situation, end up in prison. There they plan their escape and with the help of a local mobster they manage to escape only to prepare for the next robbery. Too a strange potion with really strange consequences will fall into their hands.

Thea, a researcher from an institute for nuclear studies, leaves for a vacation but ends up on an adventure at the boundary between fantasy and reality. On the TV screen the image of a man appears who disappeared 20 years ago after a nuclear explosion. She falls in love with this picture and convinces a colleague and close friend that they can bring back the man who disappeared through a strange reverse process. Her only way to communicate with this picture however is via the TV screen, and her love can only be communicated through dreaming.

An old geriatrics professor accidentally discovers after a high-school reunion a potion that can rejuvenate anybody and uses it on him and his friends. They all go their new youthful ways but, for most of them, things don't go according to plan.

The story of Galax, a robotic 'man-doll', artificially created out of wood and computer circuitry, Appearing to come to life, it becomes a rival for the affections of Marie, a young student and an issue for university authorities.
