Eager to make his name in 19th-century Vienna, a hungry young Sigmund Freud joins a psychic and an inspector to solve a string of bloody mysteries.

After his handler is killed, police dog Rex teams up with recently-divorced inspector Richard Moser to investigate crimes and solve mysteries on the streets of Vienna. And they sometimes get help from their two-legged friend, Inspector Stockinger.

Natalie, Raffi, Simon and Lukas in a new para-normal. Monstrous creatures and humans live side by side, more or less harmoniously. At least that's true in theory. Because sometimes it is quite tricky to fend off a monster attack without violating the "Creature Rights Charter" and the exclusion of vampires from public pension insurance triggers a discrimination debate - headaches are inevitable. But the group's biggest problems remain interpersonal ones: in the midst of the supernatural chaos, the four young adults struggle with the big and small dramas of adulthood, love and thus finding their place in the world - although zombies, vampires and other beasts don't necessarily exist make it easier.

The criminal psychologist Richard Brock teaches at the University of Vienna. He used to work as a psychologist until his wife took her own life and he lost his license on suspicion of incorrect treatment. In the meantime he has developed a reputation as a particularly good interrogation specialist and is therefore called in by the police in special cases.

Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna is a 1986 TV movie, starring Amy Irving, Rex Harrison, Olivia de Havilland, Omar Sharif, and Jan Niklas. The film was loosely based on the story of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia and the book The Riddle of Anna Anderson by Peter Kurth. It was Christian Bale's first film and Rex Harrison's last film. It was originally broadcast in two parts.
