The fairy-tale land of Spievankovo ​​is ruled by the kind-hearted Queen Harmony. Her mission is to ensure that music, singing, and good cheer never disappear from the land. However, music has somehow become alien to the inhabitants of Spievankovo, the musical instruments have fallen into dust, the singing has died down, and the good cheer has evaporated. Harmony therefore calls on Spievank and Zahrajko to help her bring back the lost desire to play, sing, and dance to the land, and thus save the soul of all of Spievankovo.

It’s the early 1990s and 13-year-old Karolína, a gifted novice singer, is given the chance to become a member of a world-famous girls’ choir, taking her place alongside her older sister and her other rivals in the ensemble. Everything points to the fact that Karolína’s exceptional talent has caught the attention of the formidable and much admired choirmaster. This highly anticipated psychological drama calls to mind not only the notorious case of Bambini di Praga, but also other devastating situations involving the clash of innocence and abusive authority.

The story of the film is a mapping of the path from zero to the top - losses, wins and facts. The background film also reveals the history of rap and hip-hop in Slovakia. Three decades of the Slovak hip-hop scene are retold by Rytmus himself, where he reveals various behind-the-scenes incidents or unexpected pitfalls and disappointments that he experienced in his musical career. All of this taught him something, changed him, but most of all hardened him. In addition to him, the documentary will feature a number of those who "crossed" his path or directly or indirectly influenced his work during his thirty-year journey through hip-hop.

It follows the tradition of Czech artistic documentaries like Amy and Nick Cave: 20,000 Days on Earth, exploring themes of inspiration and loneliness.

The film RYTMUS Housing Estate Dream took 8 years to create and closely documents the life of one of the most famous personalities of the Czech-Slovak music scene. Patrik "Rytmus" Vrbovský grew up in an ordinary family in a housing estate in Piešťany and, due to his Roma origin, he often encountered prejudice from his surroundings. Eugen Suchoň's opera Svätopluk returns to the stage of the Slovak National Theatre Opera in 2023. Since 1960, when it had its world premiere, this is the fifth production of this musical drama at the Slovak National Theatre. It returns as an eloquent witness of Slovak operatic history, as a bearer of a message, as an impulse for reflection and reassessment of historical attitudes in a broader context.

And once again there is another story of the immortal and ever beautiful Susan, who has to travel across the world to help her friend out of trouble. This time all the way in Africa, where her friend's wedding is already getting ready. She arrives there with him as a possible alibi for why no wedding can take place. Only things get complicated somehow after it comes out that the long-promised bride is an extremely beautiful model. And when Zuzana gets to know the more than sympathetic journalist, everything may be as it should be after all...
