A mysterious woman returns to her mountain village home to confront her painful past. As she tries to uncover the long-buried truth, the local villagers accuse her of witchcraft and murder.

A forensic psychologist solves a mysterious case and a marital crisis at the same time. Can he resist the dark forces that tempt him to uncover the secrets of the case, or will he fall victim to them?

In a research station in the Soviet military area of Beregavoye, a gas was developed to destroy the armies of the enemies of socialism. However, the gas experiment got out of control and had to be shut down. The remaining smoke bombs reached us during the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in August 1968. Later, during a conscription exercise for high school students in 1985, gas from a stray smoke bomb infected students. A small group of students struggle to survive with their infected, aggressive classmates, but also with the schoolmaster Sergei, a former Red Army special forces officer. The infected students become biting and killing beasts. They fight with saw, club and red flag.

A documentary crew who specialize in recording paranormal phenomena accept a stranger’s offer to shoot in his house. As the house begins to reveal its secrets, though, the friends discover that they’ve stumbled onto something truly evil.

The police find a burnt body in an abandoned mansion in the middle of the Radvaň housing estate in Banská Bystrica. Student Jana has a feeling that it is her ex, whom she has not been able to reach after the holidays. Moreover, she sees strange shadows in the window of the mansion at night. Her roommate, film student Elena, goes to the mansion with Kamil and a camera to investigate further. Strange noises are heard in the mansion, and for inexplicable reasons something falls next to them. This convinces them to investigate the mansion more seriously. Jana and four roommates from the mansion, equipped with cameras and walkie-talkies, occupy the mansion for the night in order to focus on special camera phenomena. Little do they know that what they will face in the next few hours will be beyond their understanding and their own existence. The situation gets out of control and it seems that the only evidence of the events of that evening is found on the camera recordings.

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, a couple is looking for a room to spend the night. The guests are rather weird. Their hosts are very tempted by the black suitcase. Something of tremendous powers is to be unleashed upon this world. (Screamfest)
