Best Ukrainian crime series

An extraordinary sense of smell gives a crime investigator unique insight into solving mysteries, but his gift takes a toll on his personal life.

In an ordinary looking apartment, a father and daughter play a game of hide-and-seek. While searching for his daughter, she is nowhere to be found... Later, a video is posted which shows the girl holding a sign with a mysterious set of numbers. But what do they mean? She’s the first of several children who disappear without a trace in a small industrial town. Young detectives Varta Naumova and Maksim Shumov take on the complex case and… their own demons. Varta is a distant person and extremely protective of her personal space, while Maksim comes across as an easy-going sociable guy. Both have experienced trauma in their lives, and this case touches them on a deeper level. They become personally vested in finding the children and apprehending the kidnapper as they face their respective pasts.

Vera (16), a girl from a regular family, unwillingly gets into a private school where children of rich and high-profile parents study.

Serhii Bondar used to be the head of the department in the center of the capital, but after a scandal at work, he had to give up his former job. The cooper gets a new partner - the lazy Petr Dzyuba and tries to get used to a quiet life on the outskirts. But, it turns out, he will not have to be bored. At DVRZ, order is established by a criminal gang, which is "crushed" by the local police. An honest policeman decides to fight crime.

The film tells about the events of 1944 and about one operation of SMERSH, the special department of Soviet counterintelligence. The command suspects that an enemy is working in the liberated territory, who must get documents compromising the Soviet government (we are talking about secret negotiations with the Germans), left somewhere in the dungeon of Hitler's former headquarters.

1925. The Rise Of NEP. Against the background of the end of the red terror, the partial restoration of public freedoms and the growth of citizens ' capital , fraudsters and criminals of all stripes are flourishing. Ligovka, the most criminally dangerous district of Leningrad. Many of the local residents are almost born into the criminal world. The complex system of passageways contributes to the organization of bandit raids. Criminal power on Ligovka is held by a gang of the elusive and mysterious Lehi Cherta.

The secret service conducts demolition work in the area of magnetic anomalies. Purely by accident, it turns out that three men are located in the explosion area: Vladimir Golenko, a criminal, Oleg Malinin, a photographer, and Benedict Tartakovsky, a failed writer. As a result of the explosion, a strange connection begins between those three: a photographer Malinin can read the criminal Golengo’s mind, even see the world around him with the criminal’s eyes, and the writer Tartakovsky can entirely control Golenko’s actions and communicate with Malinin remotely. Tartakovsky, having Golenko come into his full possession, decides to use him to revenge everybody who had ever stood on his way before.

Due to her father's illness, Inga Vilkas, a difficult-to-work-with medical examiner, comes back to the hometown and the job she left following a scandal. She efficiently solves confusing crimes for the medical examination bureau with her new colleague, investigator Oleg Gonchar.

The plot is based on real events described by Ivan Franko in a series of criminal reports for the newspaper "Kurjer Lwowski" in 1889. The writer used the motives of these events in the story "The Foundations of Society".

Events unfold in the seventies in Odessa. Girl Anya meets a simple guy Arkady Sotnikov. And now, after a while, the heroine learns that this person is the leader of the Odessa gang of robbers. She falls in love with Arkady and now, they are already planning a raid together, well, and he, in turn, really falling in love with a heroine robs only in order to then begin a new life with his beloved.
