'Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do‘ follows the life journey of Ishan and Preet. They are part of the Hooda family, an extremely prosperous business family of Delhi. Mr Hooda and Mrs. Hooda have three children - Trisha, Niti and Sid. Ishan (Iqbal Khan) is the nephew of Mr. Hooda and is married to Preet (Mona Singh). Ishan and Preet are the perfect couple and never seem to tire of their efforts to keep the entire family together.

The plot opens with a bizzarre Veenai (Strings instrument) player enacting miracles with his music. It then unravels to a world of Zodiac and passing the matron of the Veenai's powers through a Zodiac cycle. The Veenai itself is the motif of the show.
